Between September 2019 and August 2022, I served as the Lead Product Designer at Airtame Rooms. My team and I designed a brand new conferencing solution, aimed at organizations transitioning into a hybrid work environment.
Hybrid Conferencing
As Lead UX Designer for Airtame Rooms, I drove the design of a new in-room conferencing solution for hybrid work. I helped shape the strategy, led user research, and co-created design concepts to support better team collaboration.
Airtame Hub was the first conferencing solution to support both Microsoft Teams and Zoom, making meeting rooms ready for hybrid work. It won the 2023 InfoComm Best of Show Award for its industry impact and strong feedback from users and partners.
Airtame’s mission is to enable seamless, high-quality screen sharing without cables or platform limits. As hybrid work became the norm, Airtame saw the need for a new solution to meet the demands of modern collaboration.
We kicked off the project with over 25 on-site visits across Europe and the US to learn how different users—like IT admins, office staff, and regular employees—use meeting rooms. From this, we designed a new three-part meeting screen that fixed common issues like messy setups, tricky screen sharing, and lack of guidance, making hybrid meetings smoother for everyone.
